What is Marriage IRL Exactly?
Marriage IRL is an 8-week virtual experience designed for engaged couples (or those seriously thinking about marriage) who want to build a relationship that actually lasts. You’ll join a group of other couples to learn, talk, and grow together—covering everything from communication and conflict to intimacy and finances. Think of it as marriage prep, but without the boring lectures.
Do we have to be engaged to join?
Nope! While Marriage IRL is designed for engaged couples, it’s also perfect for anyone in a serious relationship who wants to prepare for marriage the right way and avoid common struggles later. If you and your partner are talking about forever, you belong here.
When are the sessions, how are they held and what if we miss one?
You can choose from the following options:
Summer- June 3-July 22, 2025
Fall- September 2-October 21, 2025
Winter- November 4-December 23, 2025
Sessions are held virtually via Google Meet. Sessions will not be recorded, so if you miss one, you'll have the option to catch up in a future session should a space be available.
How much time to we need to commit?
Each session is about 60–90 minutes, plus a little time for optional relationship-building exercises during the week (because the real growth happens when you actually apply what you learn). But don’t worry—this isn’t homework; it’s fun, meaningful stuff that actually makes your relationship better.
Will we have one-on-one time with a coach, or is it all group-based?
Both! You’ll be part of a supportive group of couples, but you’ll also get one complimentary private session for personalized guidance. That way, if there’s something specific you and your partner want to work through, you’ll have a dedicated space for it.
How much is Marriage IRL? Are there payment plan options?
The full 8-week experience—including the Prepare-Enrich Assessment, expert-led sessions, educational materials, and a private couples session—is $1250 per couple. We understand this is quite an investment so we've made the following payment plans available for those unable to pay in full:
Split it up: Pay a deposit of $625 at registration and the rest one week before the first session begins.
